Howick retirement village nearing completion!

May 2011

Building has started on the last eight freehold units in the Royalle Mews Estate retirement village on the corner of Botany Road and Mirrabooka Avenue in Howick.

Units are available now for occupation and construction of further units continues, with completion due in the next few months. Prices for the freehold units range from $550,000 depending on floor size and location.

Construction of the village units started just over 12 months ago and developer Brian Tracy says potential buyers are being attracted by the independent lifestyle that freehold offers and the quality build, design and fit out.

A furnished show home is open to view during the weekend and by appointment, as are other units currently available for sale.

A large number of units are now occupied. Residents who've moved in are full of compliments about the Estate. "It's such an ideal location and with the guest bedroom there's always a spare for family or overnight friends. The internal access from the garage is great, but a real bonus is there's always someone around to keep an eye out," says one. "It's becoming a very happy place!"

There are four unit designs available, all with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a patio area, and an internal garage. Some also have a study. The units have floor areas between 113m2 and 136m2.

"Interested purchasers can view the units during open homes each Friday, Saturday or Sunday between one and three o'clock, or make an appointment to view by phoning 09 3094410," says developer Brian Tracy.

The architect designed layouts and the pleasingly coordinated interior designs with 100% New Zealand wool carpets throughout, are proving very popular. Windows are double-glazed, bedrooms have spacious wardrobes, the master bathroom has underfloor heating and heated towel rails, the kitchen appliances include wastemaster, dishwasher, oven, rangehood and hobs.

"Landscaping and planting proceeds as units are finished and maintenance of the village grounds is being done by a gardener appointed by the Body Corporate - a further bonus for residents," adds Brian.

The Estate will total 45 dwellings when completed. The site plan and individual unit floor plans may be viewed at the website www.royallemews.co.nz
