Freehold Howick retirement village units prove popular!

12 August 2010

Ten units in stages one and two of the Royalle Mews Estate retirement village on the corner of Botany Road and Mirrabooka Avenue in Howick have been sold and a further two are under contract.

Five further units are available for immediate sale and occupation in stages two and three. Construction of fourteen stage four and five units is proceeding, with completion due within three months. Prices for the freehold units range from $564,000 depending on floor size and location.

"Interest has been very high. The village units are selling well because potential buyers are being attracted by the independent lifestyle that freehold offers," says developer Brian Tracy.

There are four unit designs available, all with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a patio area, and an internal garage. The units have floor areas between 113m2 and 136m2. some units also have a study.

Interested purchasers can view the units during open homes each Friday, Saturday or Sunday between 11am to 1pm, or make an appointment to view by phoning 09 3094410.

The architect designed layouts and the pleasingly coordinated interior designs with 100% New Zealand wool carpets throughout, are proving very popular. Windows are double-glazed, bedrooms have spacious wardrobes, the master bathroom has underfloor heating and heated towel rails, the kitchen appliances include wastemaster, dishwasher, oven, rangehood and hobs.

"The village fence along Botany Road is near completion and landscaping and planting is proceeding as units are finished. Maintenance of the village grounds is being done by a gardener appointed by the Body Corporate - a further bonus," added Brian.

The village will total 45 units when all are built. The site plan and individual unit floor plans may be viewed at the websitewww.royallemews.co.nz
